Beat Description:
Sea trout, brown trout & rainbow trout
Quite a walk from the recommended parking spot in the lay-by but the reward is a delightful river containing a good head of trout. They are small fish that give a good account of themselves on a light rod. Use a 6/7 foot rod rated 3/4 with a dry fly and good sport can be had. There are rumours of sea trout and rainbow escapees.
